Trusts & Estates
Our trusts and estates practice includes the probate and administration of estates and trusts, advising executors, trustees and beneficiaries, preparing estate tax returns and accountings, guardianship proceedings and surrogate court litigation relating to will contests, construction proceedings, and contested accountings.
Elder Law
Our elder law practice involves Medicaid planning for home care and nursing home care, drafting of trusts and other legal documents to preserve assets and facilitate eligibility for government benefits, preparing and submitting Medicaid applications and preparing Special Needs Trusts, if appropriate.
Tax
The firm’s tax practice involves all aspects of individual, partnership, real estate and corporate taxation, including client representation in audits and administrative proceedings before the Internal Revenue Service and other tax authorities, and representation of private foundations and not-for-profit organizations.
